Review: A Court of Wings and Ruin
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. MaasMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
The first few chapters kept me on edge and took me for an unforgettable, thrilling, psychological drama-filled ride. I loved every moment I was reading those pages. The final help.... I kind of guessed that twist pretty early on. Near the end though, some parts felt anti-climactic, unresolved, and not explored enough, like I was expecting more of their story to fit in right in one book. There were some very special, cherish-worthy moments though. I am in awe with the author's writing because of those moments.
Overall, this was a book that made me immersed in or ponderous over for all day yesterday and today. I couldn't pick up another book or couldn't wait for all my chores to be done with so that I could get back to reading it. So I'm glad.
