What is this? WHAT.IS.THIS? How and why does a book, and a much-anticipated sequel to a beautifully written story of horror and mystery and a great love that would attempt to defy curses I once dnf-ed due to loss of interest have the power to become unputdownable like this, just because I re-read the first book after a long long time and loved it anew and wanted to see the end?

Finished it. So much drama. So many implausible Deux Machina stuff. But so much heart and sacrifice and love. Sad that the ending was so short. I would've liked to know a bit more. But what I got to read, I am glad I did.
